In this talk I will review the BRITE observations acquired for almost 40 cool (FGK) supergiants. I will discuss the overall quality and results of these observations and compare them with the larger sample of over 100 cool supergiants acquired over the last decade. The ultimate goal is to understand the magnetic properties of these stars and the origin of their fields and the possible consequences for their evolution.
